Ride With Uber

Caesars Entertainment has partnered with Uber to maximize your time in Las Vegas with convenient designated Uber pickup and dropoff locations at our resorts.

IT'S HOT SO STAY HYDRATED

Las Vegas gets hot. If your vacation brings you to this desert oasis in the summer, you will want to dress in your favorite clothing that beats the heat. That may include shorts, tank tops and sandals, but you may want to have a jacket handy for venturing into the casinos as the air conditioning may be set quite cool. The opposite goes for winter. The outdoors is cold and the indoors can get pretty toasty, so opt for a heavy jacket that you can easily put on and take off.

Also, be sure to stay hydrated and sip water throughout the day. When the temperature rises above 100 degrees, which happens most days in July and August, it can quickly sap your energy. If you start to feel sick, chances are you are dehydrated. This happens in both summer and winter seasons in this desert settings. Consider picking up some bottled water at a grocery store where it's less expensive.

Protect your skin

The sun and beautiful weather are great reasons to visit Las Vegas, but make sure to protect your skin and eyes. If you haven't been out in the sun's bright rays recently or are hitting up one of Vegas' many pools, it's advisable to lather up with a sunscreen rated at SPF 30 or higher. Also, be sure to protect your eyes with sunglasses that contain UV coating.

Be a savvy pedestrian

Las Vegas is a big place, and there is plenty to see. Most intersections on the Strip must be crossed by pedestrian overpass bridges, which means you never have to wait for a light. Should you need to cross a busy street, be careful walking and only walk in marked crosswalks with the lights. It's easy to get distracted by the many sights Las Vegas has to offer, so be aware of your surroundings to ensure that you are able to enjoy this wonderful city and come back for another visit.

All this sightseeing also means a ton of walking, so don't forget to pack your comfy shoes! Keep in mind that casinos are massive. Something that is right next door may be much farther than you anticipate. The walk from your room to the casino floor may already be a trek in itself.

Easily catch a Wi-Fi signal

Staying connected to the Internet is a must for many guests, regardless of whether you're traveling for business or pleasure. Enhanced Wi-Fi is available at all Caesars Entertainment properties.

Don't be afraid of the gaming tables

Games such as blackjack, roulette and craps offer the thrill of winning some extra cash. Don't feel intimidated if you've never played these games. Most of the dealers and professional staff running them are happy to explain the rules. Also, you can learn the basics for specific games by picking up a 101 guide for a couple of dollars or partaking in free lessons offered by some of the casinos. Try your luck at tables with lower limits at the Flamingo Las Vegas. As for casino etiquette, it's probably best to keep your personal gadgets in your pocket while gaming. For those under 21, you can still enjoy a lot of other attractions and entertainment while in Las Vegas. Shooting videos or taking pictures is not allowed on the casino floor.

Join the club to get the perks

If you are planning on spending some time in a casino to game or dine, be sure to pick up a Caesars Rewards membership card. This allows you to accumulate credits every time you play slots or tables and eat on property. This card can also get your member discounts at a variety of dining and shopping venues. Credits can be redeemed for a variety of discounts and special offers, including show tickets, dining at top local restaurants, and stays at numerous resorts.
